I am so tired today I can barely think straight, but there I was last night watching the premiere of The Hunger Games until 3 AM. I had a work meeting at 8:30 this morning, but I'm home now and enjoying my off Friday. The little man and I are about to negotiate his afternoon nap, at which point we both will go to sleep because, memo to self, I'm not as young as I used to be.
I've been to several movie premiere nights. Seeing super fans so excited about a movie lends an additional layer of excitement to the event. I know it's not for everyone, but if you've never done it, you should try it at least once. People dress up and are very creative--it's quite a show.
I hope you have a lovely weekend! If you need me, I'll be trying that whole "sleep when the baby sleeps" business.

DeleteI loved the movie! Midnight shows really are the best. It's great to see people so excited, and when it's a fandom like Hunger Games or Harry Potter...I LOVE seeing people dress up. I did for the last HP. :)

I would like to hear your opinion on the Hunger Games. I have heard a lot of people say the books are great but the concept (kids fighting each other to the death) just turns me off. I'll admit, I haven't research the series much so maybe I'm just poorly informed!
