Pardon my little trip down memory lane today. Spring break is approaching, and I have a bit of the wanderlust. I'd hardly say I'm beach ready even a year post-baby, but I honestly wouldn't care on a deserted beach like the one we were on the day that picture was taken. In particular, we had absolutely no agenda, no planned stops, not even researched restaurants, and I believe I even deleted my work e-mail from my phone as a big exclamation point to the word "relaxation!"
How I would love to be there today. With my husband. And our baby. I think I just lowered my blood pressure by considering it.
So tell me, if you could re-live one vacation that you've been on, which one would it be and why?
I'd love to be on my Hawaiian honeymoon (with husband and daughter). Nuff said!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhh....we went to Maui on our honeymoon. It was amazing, so yes, 'nuff said, indeed!
DeleteWe went to Yellowstone when Paul got back from his first deployment and left Carly with my parents. It was so wonderful - I'd love to do that again!
ReplyDeleteYellowstone is on our list of places to visit. I'm not a big nature fan (that might be the understatement of the year,) but it looks just beautiful!
DeleteOur honeymoon on Vancouver Island. Hands down.
ReplyDeleteWhat time of year did you go? I hear it's beautiful there!
DeleteYour photo is making me crave the beach and some r&r. I'd relive our trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico in Dec. 2010. Beautiful white sand, quiet and secluded. Ah! :) New to your blog and I love it. Nice to meet you, Mrs. Gentry.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment and for reading my blog! I just read through part of yours and will add it to my reader! The beach in Mexico is so beautiful...but let's face it, I love any beach, even the brown ones right here in Texas. :)
DeleteI'd love to go back to Aruba for two weeks, just like we did on our honeymoon! However, I'll settle for a trip to Florida in two weeks! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Aruba, but it sounds perfectly sunny and fabulous! Have fun on your trip! Hooray for a spring break.
